What's it like to Be a Scout Mom?
"Rewarding, adventurous, exciting take your pick. All though I only have two boys, I feel like every boy who come's into our troop is my responsibility to see they exceed to there final goal."
What do you like most about being a Scout Mom?
"Spending time with my boys! As my boys grow older, the less they want to do with mom but with Scouting, they don't mind camping, fishing, hiking, crawling through caves and having mom tag along. Seeing them learn new things and gaining confidence to try anything makes me very proud."
How has Scouting changed your relationship with your son?
"Rewarding, we have memories that will last a lifetime. Being able to spend so much time with them has earned us respect for one another and has made us a much closer family!"
What would you tell a mom asking for your advice about becoming a Scout Mom?
"I'd tell her it's one of the most rewarding experiences you will have with your child. Don't be afraid to learn new things and have as much fun as you can. Your boy will learn that mom's can do anything that dad's can do and the respect that comes from that is life-changing!"
