What's it like to Be a Scout Mom?
"Growing up my dad was a Scout Master and I have three Eagle Scout brothers. I have always wanted to be part of such an amazing organization. Now I have that chance with my son as he starts Cub Scouts. Being a Scout Mom is an adventure waiting to happen and the best part is you get to go on that adventure with your son(s)!"
What do you like most about being a Scout Mom?
"I love seeing my son grow and learn. He gets excited at each new step in the process. Scouting teaches him to do his best, take responsibility for his actions, and have respect for the people and environment around him. I'm looking forward to watching him mature into a confident young man!"
How has Scouting changed your relationship with your son?
"Scouting provides an opportunity for my son and I to spend quality time together and bond. It's an activity we can both be involved in. Scouting gives us an opportunity to grow and learn together."
What would you tell a mom asking for your advice about becoming a Scout Mom?
"Get involved! Our kids want us to care about the things that they care about! Support and encourage them and don't be afraid to let your son spread their wings and fly!"
